Paintings can die after a few years and I was searching for an answer that wouldn't turn the dead piece into rubbish that inhabited a landfill. Painting a drapery over the painting in a style that had nothing to do with the piece that had died was the answer. This is the first one, hand ground oils on a cradled panel. Alive again.
